PLAT.ONE the first Enterprise-Grade Application platform for IoT and M2M, announced today that it has hired George LeBron to lead its sales and business development in the United States. This complements PLAT.ONE’s recent selection by Cisco to join the Cisco® Entrepreneurs in Residence www.eir.cisco.com program and establishment of the company’s US headquarters in Palo Alto.

George LeBron has a rich experience base in M2M with more than 20 years of successful sales and business development experience at companies such as Ericsson, Air2Web, Wavecom and Numerex. He was most recently Head of Connected Health for Aeris Communications, and prior led Telenor Connexion’s US market development. “I’ve had the honor of working with some of the best companies and talent in the M2M and IoT space, and was quite impressed by the PLAT.ONE platform, solutions, customers, and team.” said George LeBron, “PLAT.ONE’s distributed ‘fog computing’ architecture and multi-tenant design make them the natural choice for large scale mission-critical applications.” “We’re honored to have George join our team and to lead our US business development,” said Filippo Murroni, CEO of PLAT.ONE. “Given our recent announcements with Cisco, and the unprecedented interest coming from large US industrial companies, we already see an immense opportunity for our Enterprise-Grade M2M and IoT solution set.”
